The Learning Alliance, a non-profit located in Indian River County, Florida, helps kids read by supporting literacy in homes, schools, and the community. In partnership with the public school district, The Learning Alliance provides extra resources to ensure that all students can become successful readers.

The Moonshot Series, produced by The Children’s Literacy Project, documents the journey of our community to reach the Moonshot Goal of having 90% of students reading on grade level by the end of third grade. The 10-episode series highlights how a public-private partnership between the School District of Indian River County, The Learning Alliance, and the entire community prioritized early literacy, changing the trajectory for thousands of young readers.
